However, it is also necessary to improve one's sleeping habits by sleeping on time and for at least eight hours. Going early to bed will set one's mind in a particular pattern thus enabling the individual to have a fixed pattern of sleep. Moreover, there should be self-imposed restrictions upon smoking and drinking alcohol as this would reduce the person's snoring dramatically. To prevent snoring in terms of changing one's habits depends on the change in a person's lifestyle, such as dieting and exercising. Snoring is not a disease that one has to feel extremely worried about. But if one has problems that bother him/her to an extreme, then that person might resort to having a surgery done which would reduce the muscular tension that accumulates on the tissues of the nose and the throat.
